Senior Project Planner - Project Control Engineer - Rail - Primavera - NEC - Construction Due to expansion, a new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Planner with Rail experience to join a well established design and engineering company that has been successfully delivering projects since 1957. Working within a leading construction and regeneration group, this is an exciting time to join this leading organisation as they consolidate their position within the market. The Project Planner will develop and manage resource loaded project schedules, provide analysis, management, and overcome challenges to improve a projects execution. My client is ideally looking for candidates with extensive Primavera experience, NEC contract exposure, and those who have been involved previously within Rail projects. The Senior Project Planners activities span the following key areas: - Work as part of a project control team to build the best practice project control capability. - Improve project performance. - Monitor and Control project schedule risks. - Develop and manage resource loaded schedules and guide the project team. - Facilitate weekly project update meetings. - Highlight potential risk, critical path analysis, and provide suitable mitigation measures to the appropriate lead. - Support the change control process and implement baseline change requests using Primavera P6 - Continually improve and streamline the planning process.
