We have an opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join our friendly Brand team at our UK Headquarters in Weybridge.

Salary Circa £50,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience plus excellent benefits including car allowance, bonus and staff wine allowance.

About the role

This is a brand new role that will develop and lead the Accolade Wines social media agenda, championing the way for the global business. This role is responsible for developing the social media strategy and implementing it across all relevant social channels and territories to engage diverse audiences and increases participation with and interest in our brands. Recognising that our customer base is incredibly diverse, in terms of gender, age, nationality etc, you will develop our social strategy to reflect this diversity and allows us to talk to different audiences over different channels.

Key accountabilities

Working closely with our brand teams you will need to understand our overall brand strategy, brand direction and tone of voice for our hero brands ?Echo Falls, Hardys and Kumala? and then translate them effectively into a coherent and relevant social media content strategy that will engage our different audience. Through utilising the data that our Customer Insight and Shopper Marketing team provide, ensure the social media strategic direction is talking to the right customers at the right time using the right channels.

Leading a 'virtual? team you will be accountability for developing relevant content to increase engagement with our diverse customer base. Through working collaboratively with marketing, PR, shopper marketing and e-commerce teams as well as international partners you will ensure on brand content and delivery of the brand voice and agreeing suitable video, photographic and written content for all social media channels and managing the design and creation of promotions and social advertising campaigns.

Being the advocate for Accolade Wines in social media spaces, you will engage in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Developing and expanding the community and blogger outreach efforts. Working with our colleagues, such as our customer services team you will create a process to capture customer online reviews. Monitoring, listening and responding to followers in a positive and social way whilst cultivating leads and sales opportunities, activating followers from interested observers to committed customers. Through listening to the general chatter around the brand, measuring brand sentiment & perception, and working to develop this in line with the brand strategy. You will Iientify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business and report notable threats appropriately.

You will map out how our efforts in the social media space support the wider marketing and e-commerce strategies, ensuring alignment to those strategies via appropriate testing and metrics. Implement the best practice for measuring the impact of social media campaigns and ensuring analysis, reviews and reports on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.

About you

You will be experienced in developing and implementing long term social media strategies to support and develop on our brand visions. Having gained experience of working within a social communication role for (or on behalf of) a global brand from within the FMCG industry, you will be looking for your next opportunity to create and drive the social media strategy.

You will have experience in designing and executing social campaigns, building audiences and follower basis, ensuring you are well informed on the key industry trends in social media tools, applications and channels. You will ensure that we remain at the cutting edge in the use of new technology, thinking and engagement strategies to bring best practices into the business.

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues.
