Due to a period of growth, we are looking to recruit a Mobile Device and IT Support Technician to support our existing phones department and the wider business on the IT Support side, initially on a temporary basis for a 4 to 6 month period. There may be the opportunity for this role to be made permanent in the future.

The key duties include, but are not limited to:

Perform diagnostics and fault-finding for mobile devices, using relevant test software and equipment
Ensure that all devices meet the required quality standards
Pack the devices ready for dispatch to customers
Ability to carry out repairs as and when required
Ensure all records are accurate and up to date
Support the team to meet the monthly sales targets and KPIs
Follow Company processes for stock handling at all times
Support with carrying out daily stock checks
Support with documenting processes and procedures
Support with resolving first line IT requests
Support with installing new computers, printers etc and moving/setting up existing computers when required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience testing and packing mobile phones, especially iPhones, along with the ability to carry out repairs when required.
A good working knowledge of Excel, along with excellent attention to detail is required.

In addition, basic IT troubleshooting skills and knowledge would be ideal.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 09:00 17:00 with one hour unpaid lunch break. Advertised through Zoek 3492d34161034d5683f27320d0893b585
