Head of Digital Experience

Up to £75k+ Car Allowance + Package + Fantastic Benefits

Working nr Swindon, in beautiful brand new offices, floor to ceiling windows and a space that provides an excellent working environment!

Our well established client are looking to bring in a Head of Digital Experience to manage the Digital Experience team and defining the DX vision for the business. Interacting with key business owners and playing a key role in the business development, the successful candidate will support the digital strategy through leadership and cultivation of a multi-disciplinary team.

Championing and promoting the DX team and philosophy within the company, you will be integral in the process of transferring ownership of the digital experience from the existing teams and recognising that the digital experience is distinct from overall customer experience. With expansive digital experience and with experience of being a UX practitioner, you will have experience of leading a team with vision and clear strategy.

You will oversee the delivery process ensuring design is delivered and robust enough to ensure the development and test meets the standards set before deployment. You'll act as decision maker and signatory in the selection process of any technology and design decisions that can affect the user's experience. This covers the quality of the user interface, the interactions and usability, the performance and accessibility.

You will:

  • Be able to inspire a team of discipline leads (UX, UI and Proposition), ensuring they have time to innovate and collaborate with appropriate colleagues and third parties.
  • Have the ability to interact effectively with product teams of all levels and backgrounds, from CEOs to support staff.
  • Have a deep understanding and awareness of product development and experience tying product goals to business and user goals.
  • Be able to maintain the team's budget, plans and goals, ensuring risks are managed and the team are highly effective with the tools they require to do their jobs.
