A large insurance company in Birmingham City Centre are going through a period of planned expansion over the coming months. They will be holding interview over the next two months to further strengthen their presence in the Birmingham insurance market.

As well as on the job training, you will be given full support towards professional insurance qualifications, development and education.

You will manage a case-load of household claims accounts being the sole point of contact for each customer throughout the cycle of their claim. The role will be varied and offer something new every day. You will liaise with all areas as the business as well as external suppliers to ensure that the claims runs smoothly throughout up to the final settlement of the claim.

The claims service that you will be providing is innovative in its field and has recently won a number of industry awards. The training that you receive will enable you to offer this first class service to every customer that you speak to.

Unlike most customer contact centres which require you to work endless lates and weekends, here it's different as they finely balance work life of employees as well as the ongoing needs of customers. The majority of your hours each week will be on varied shift patterns covering 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6 over a 35 hour week with the occasional requirement to work a 12-8 shift during busy periods. In return for working just one Saturday morning out of three you will then be given additional time to take off during the week.
