2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer - Contract - 6 Months - Plymouth
My client are currently looking for a contract 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer for an initial 6 month contract.
The IT team is responsible for delivering a world class service and support function which delivers value to its customers by facilitating business outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of IT, the key responsibilities and duties will include:-
·Supporting windows 7 / 10, active directory, exchange, MS Office 2010 and later versions
·Resolving incidents and service requests within service level targets
·Providing 2nd / 3rd line support to the office, understanding all aspects of problems and delivering root cause resolution
·Travelling to other sites, may be required
Candidates should demonstrate and possess:
·Experience in the support of desktops, working in an ITIL environment
·Server and network experience, would be an advantage
·Experience of building laptops and desktops, including rolling out software, re-imaging and managing user data migration
·Be an effective team worker, with the ability to work independently when required
·Have the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
·Able to cope with pressured situations and adhering to deadlines
·Have effective communication and time management skills
·Flexibility to actively support all on-call requirements
Candidates should hold the following qualifications:
·Experience in desktop support.
·Windows Server and CCNA (or equivalent) would be desirable
