Rullion are recruiting for a First Line Support Technician for a well known client based in Eccles, this is a permanent opportunity and is a great starting position for someone who is looking to begin their career in IT or to further develop it.

As a Service Desk Technician you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls on the IT Service Desk, ensuring all incidents and requests are logged, prioritised and assigned appropriately, with all key information captured on the helpdesk tool. You will have the opportunity to resolve each incident that comes through however will be working to SLAs agreed with your Team Leader.
  • Ensure that incidents and requests are dealt with effectively and escalated as required
  • Investigate technical queries and provide regular updates where required
  • Resolving incidents such as password resets, printer config etc.
  • Analyse/use investigation techniques to resolve queries
  • Maintain high levels of customer service
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the services provided.
  • Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures
  • Working with bespoke technologies
