Hays Legal Recruitment are delighted to work in partnership on the recruitment of the new Junior Legal Counsel to work with a strong team for a commercial company based in Portsmouth.

Your new role
This is a varied position which offers a great deal of personal development moving forward in your career - you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and advising on complex contracts whilst also being charged to work on any legal issues that might arise - these could include compliance, IP, Employment, Disputes, Insurance and governance. Working within an established team will offer the support you require within the responsibilities of the role but will also allow you to flourish within the demands of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be 0-3 years PQE and any In House experience would be beneficial - this can be considered potentially from your training seat or a secondment. Importantly, you will be driven to advance your career in an In House role and be a competent communicator who can operate at all levels of business. You should produce high quality work and deliver practical solutions in terms of legal advice.
