Your new role
For the Group across the UK you will be the number one in finance and be responsible for a broad scope of responsibilities whilst reporting to the Board. Team management will play a part as you'll be required to lead the finance team of 8 additional members which include a healthy balance of qualified accountants, administration and trainees. You're first task will be responsible for reviewing the Company's financial performance from an operational and controls perspective and implementing improved processes to support accurate financial and management reporting. You will work closely with Operations and Development teams on implementing the local strategy as your role moves to providing more insight and value to the business from a revenue generation perspective, including integrating the finance department into core business units and partnering fee earners.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have strong academics and have a recognised accounting qualification ideally chartered ACA. You will have a good knowledge of the time billing environment from industry experience gained in a professional services consultancy business. Being able to demonstrate your experience of working with a senior board and Partners are key, alongside the ability to lead and motivate a stable finance team. Knowledge around project finance and the nuances of a time billing company are useful, alongside excellent communication skills, energy and charisma.
