Strategy Graduate Programme
Strategy Graduate Programme
London | £26,000 + location pay* and benefits such as an annual bonus**
To keep us ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing market, Royal Mail needs an insightful and commercially aware strategy team to help shape our future. On this graduate programme, you’ll learn the skills you need to help us achieve our vision of being the best delivery company in the UK and Europe.
About the programme >
Over two years, you’ll work on key strategy projects, building insights and helping inform our strategy for everything from HR and operations to moving into new markets. Working with experts in strategy, you’ll develop the structured analysis, problem solving, communication, stakeholder management and project-management skills needed to lead us forwards.
In addition to on-the-job-training, you’ll carry out week-long placements across the business, and be actively encouraged to pursue relevant formal qualifications. Every step of the way, Royal Mail will be by your side, with our experienced managers working with you to set and help you reach performance goals – assigning you a buddy, mentor and HR lead to make sure you have a strong support network to rely on. And, when you complete the scheme, we’ll work together to decide whether you’re ready to move into a more challenging role within the business.
All our Graduates receive a generous benefits package including a performance-dependent annual bonus, company-contribution pension, work laptop, work phone and more.
What we’re looking for >
An ability to think laterally, creatively and commercially, plus a natural ability to lead people are key to success on the Strategy graduate programme. Alongside these qualities, we ask that you have a 2:1 degree minimum. A business, maths or engineering background is desirable, but not essential: as long as you have the business drive and potential we’re looking for, we’re interested in hearing from you.
Graduates are expected to relocate to London. We offer some financial support with initial moving costs and time off to move, as part of our relocation policy. You will also need the right to work full time in the UK.
