Large successful engineering group seeking a Financial Controller to join their Leicestershire head office.

Your new company
This leading engineering organisation based in Leicester have an urgent need for a Financial Controller to manage their finance function, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This multi-site business supplies it's products across the globe and has built it's reputation on the provision of high-quality, high specification goods.

Your new role
Reporting into senior management, you will take operational control of the finance function and lead a small team in the provision of the financial and management accounts. You will be responsible for producing budgets, forecasts, managing the cashflow, statutory submissions including intra-stat, VAT and ONS figures and relationships with the banks and other external parties including HMRC.
You will be able to support operational management in producing value-add analysis and associated information.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a confident, professional and technically-strong accountant with a good track record of working within a fast-paced SME environment.
