Growing secondary school looking to recruit an English Teacher job to start in January 2018.

Your new company
This secondary school has experienced significant expansion over the last 1-2 academic years and has plans for this to continue over the next 2-3 years, therefore it is important they appoint the right staff to facilitate this growth. With a highly influential and forward thinking leadership team, the school are continually implementing new ideas in order to further develop the school and overall make improvements.

Your new role
Joining the school on a long term basis in January 2018, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 English to pupils in classes of between 25 and 30. You will start in January and continue for the full 2 remaining terms of the academic year, therefore will be there through until the end of July 2018. Responsibilities within this role will include the teaching of English, ensuring all planning and preparation is completed to the highest standard, delivering of lessons and subsequently marking and assessing pupils work. Your overall focus will be to ensure a positive learning environment is created and that all pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long term role, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching English through to KS4, as well as being available from January and able to commit to the full length of the contract.
