Year 4 Teacher, Sutton (ASAP Start)
A small and friendly 1 form entry school in the borough of Sutton are looking to appoint an experienced and inspiring teacher. The role is on a full time basis, and will start as soon as possible.
Your role will involve teaching a vivacious Year 4 class of mixed academic ability. There are pupils with SEN and EAL needs in the class; these pupils will be taught in a special provision on site during the mornings, and will be integrated into the mainstream classroom in the afternoons. You will therefore be required to plan lessons that cater for all pupils, taking into consideration their individual abilities.
You will be joining a warm and welcoming school, with a small network of dedicated and inclusive staff, and a real community feel. The school is situated in large grounds, a short walk from the local train station, and benefits from excellent facilities including a well-equipped and modern ICT suite, swimming pool, and large grounds.
In order to be considered for this role, you must be eligible to work in the UK and have proven teaching experience in KS2. It is also essential that you hold QTS status and are able to provide at least 2 valid teaching references in the past 5 years.
