IT Operator / Service Desk - 24/7 Cover
24/7 IT Operator (Service Desk Analyst) required to join a rapidly expanding FTSE 100 organisation based in the Sheffield area. Our customer is a household known organisation and is one of the largest British companies in the world. Due to growth and internal promotions they are now seeking an IT Operator (Service Desk Analyst) to join their team based in Sheffield.
The nature of the role will be to work in a large-scale IT Support environment. You will be monitoring clients network infrastructure, monitoring clients servers, creating new user accounts and performing daily Adhoc batch monitoring, picking up issues from inception and following to resolution amongst other responsibilities.
Please note this is a 24/7 position and you will be required to work on a 4-week shift pattern. These shifts can include either day or night shifts. There is a 33% shift allowance.
The ideal candidate will want to carve out a career and be passionate about IT. You will have experience of providing 1st Line Support and want to move into a environment where you will learn new technologies and make rapid growth on the career ladder.
