About the Marketing Executive (GetOutside) role

You will be delivering marketing activity to support the GetOutside programme. You'll be supporting the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing programmes and campaigns across the marketing mix to support increased public engagement in outdoor activity. This will include digital, PR, internal communications, direct mail, sponsorship, events and managing incoming queries and co-ordinating responses. As the Marketing Executive (GetOutside), you'll be responsible for planning, creating and delivering engaging and relevant content across digital, web and social channels to support the delivery of the GetOutside initiative and managing the GetOutside Champion Programme including recruitment, and the annual launch event. Through monitoring campaign budgets and analysing and reporting results of marketing activity you will help ensure all outcomes are aligned to achieve defined key performance indicators and support the Marketing Manager in longer term planning.

About You

You are already a Marketing Executive or Assistant looking to apply your knowledge, skills and experience in a new setting on a high profile, national initiative. In particular, we are looking for evidence and track record in:

- Developing and implementing marketing activities and campaigns across different marketing channels

- Working collaboratively with strong relationship skills

- Passion for social media

- Excellent analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- An energetic self-starter
