About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Site Chief Engineer to join our Major Projects team to work in Sellafield.

What you'll be doing

As a Site Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring provision of mature and approved plans for site construction delivery. Interface between engineering design and construction team.
* Leadership of construction support team delivering the following; Surveying services, Temporary Works, Lifting coordination, Site logistics, BIM services, Regulatory compliance, Work pack provision, organisation of constructability reviews and Hazcons.
* Management of interfaces and construction delivery requirements between multiple engineering design teams spread across various design centers nationally.
* Representation of construction discipline at client executive level.
* Ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements, provision of as built surveys and Life Time Records.

You will have:

* Engineering and Technical skills
* Leadership, Management and Coaching experience
* Strong Negotiation skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* extensive Scheduling & Programme Planning experience
