A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join my client?s team at a leading law firm in Maidstone. They are developing an enviable position in the market and due to their continued success, they are now looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal with at least 2 years? experience to join their team.

The Role:

You will be managing your own caseload of lower value matters with support at hand as and when it is required. You will also be assisting the fee earners with the more complex transactions.

Your duties as a Paralegal will include:

? Running basic commercial property transactions (with supervision as required)
? Dealing with the processes of ?exchange? and ?completion? together with post-completion work
? Running plot sales transactions, including chain chasing (with supervision as required)
? Liaising with clients and other solicitors
? Providing general assistance with property searches and investigation on title
? Assisting with the financial control of matters
? Providing administrative support to the fee earners in the team (research, photocopying, proof reading)
? Meeting targets for chargeable work

As a Paralegal you will have:

? At least 2 years? experience in Commercial Property
? Be qualified to Degree level
? Ideally be LPC qualified
? Excellent client care skills with a confident and pleasant telephone manner
? Ideally gained some knowledge of residential conveyancing
? Good IT skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
? Good numeracy skills
? The desire to learn and develop
