This is a great opportunity to join a progressive international technology company in the newly created role of Treasury Manager - Working Capital. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Finance you will play a key role in the management and forecasting of working capital, treasury (£50m plus on an ongoing basis) and banking facility reporting. Our client offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified accountant who has undertaken a similar role and is now ready to step up to the next level in driving working capital initiatives, developing new models and being pro-active in communicating to the Board on the company?s cash management.

As Treasury Manager day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Operational cash forecasting and management, with detailed and timely reporting on cash, headroom and facilities utilisation
  • The development of advanced cash forecasting models including active involvement in short and long range planning. This will include gaining a string understanding of factors that could impact working capital employed and taking appropriate action to mitigate any breach of facilities
  • Development of FX reporting including tracking of $ and Euro movements, tracking of gains / losses on hedging contracts and forecasting forward currency trends
  • To manage projects / initiatives on banking & funding options and facilities

To be successful in this role you will need strong technical ability (particularly in accurate cash flow forecasting), advanced financial modelling skills and great communication / stakeholder engagement capability. You will need to be comfortable advising and influencing at board level.
