Are you an aspiring educational psychologist who has just graduated from university with a 2:1 or higher in your psychology degree?

Secondary Schools across South Yorkshire are looking to appoint well-rounded Psychology graduates to join their inclusion department and provide 1:1 support for a number of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to help them overcome barriers to learning could this be the perfect role for you?

The schools that we work with in the South Yorkshire area are renowned for providing excellent training and development programmes for their support staff, giving them the required skills they need to build on their past experience and provide them with all the attributes required to be an educational psychologist.

To be considered for a role as a EBD Teaching Assistant you must be a graduate with a passion for supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and will be supportive and caring with a "firm but fair" approach. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologists keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis with a child who has autism and communication difficulties.

The extensive support you will be given from a seasoned SENCO will put you in a great position to kick-start your career as an educational psychologist and this role could be perfect for you.
