Technical Support Engineer - Technical Operations Analyst - Financial Services - FPS - Reading

I am looking for a Technical Support Engineer - Technical Operations Analyst -who will be dealing with customers via phone, portal, and email, resolving issues and escalating where necessary, operational support of company cloud services and applications, pro-actively informing customers of any issues with the Direct FPS service (Faster Payments Service), maintenance and development of Direct FPS service and cloud services support, related resources and documentation, you will also be required to support the Transactional Operations team in the maintenance and running of the systems/servers, and work to ITIL methodology to ensure industry best practice is maintained at all times.

Key skills & responsibilities:

*A number of year's experience in a Service Delivery or Technical Support position
*Experience or a good understanding of the UK Faster Payments Service (FPS) would be highly advantageous
*ITIL best practice experience/qualification
*Windows Operating Systems
*Windows Server 2008/2012
*SQL Server administration and optimisation experience and/or Oracle database
*Virtualisation experience VMWare, Hyper - V, KVM
*Experience of managing web applications on Apache, IIS, Oracle, WebLogic.
*Understanding of TCP/IP
*Knowledge of Project Management methodologies

My client operates with the Financial Services sector so any previous experience of Faster Payments Services (FPS) or Payment Solutions would be highly advantageous .

My client is looking to pay a base salary of between £27,000 - £30,000, + a great benefits package to include commission structure, pension, travel insurance, childcare vouchers.
