This is an excellent opportunity to join a blue-chip digital publishing firm who are continuing to expand and evolve within the marketplace. We are currently looking for an App Marketing Specialist to join the customer experience division of the business and help drive customer conversion and reader engagement within their digital apps used globally. You will work very closely with both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to key decision-making which will align to their overall growth strategy for the next 5 years. The ideal candidate will have a user centric mindset be product focused and have experience of marketing apps across multiple mobile platforms and channels. A clear understanding of what makes an optimal user journey flow for new readers is key along with being able to test, optimise and scale ideas to ramp up conversion. The role would suit a highly analytical and creative marketer who enjoys identifying opportunities and testing proposed hypothesis to improve performance. They would be an ambitious self-starter with a passion for numbers along with being able to drive forward product enhancements to support associated KPIs. Responsibilities include helping to deliver respective volume and revenue targets, managing day-to-day platform partnerships and helping to influence the development road map in order to optimise the user experience and maximise conversion rates. You should have the following experience; - 3 years + experience in a digital marketing / growth hacking role - Proven successes in using digital marketing to drive acquisition within apps - An ability to collate and gain insights from multiple data streams - An understanding of the end-to-end user experience and product offerings around an app, including both in-app user journeys to persuade conversion as well as leveraging external channels to drive installs and sampling - Understanding of how to design effective experiments and tests with statistical significance - Excellent copy writing skills - A high level of attention to detail - The ability to create digital marketing assets (via Photoshop or other tools) would be ideal - Strong analytical skills - Knowledge of subscription based business activities a plus
