We're recruiting an Onsite Manager for one of the UK's leading National Tools and Equipment Hire organisations for a mixed residential, commercial and retail development which is taking place in the City of London (EC2 postcode).

Working for a highly successful company, you will receive a strong starting basic of up to £35,000, a very generous bonus structure, pension contributions and excellent opportunities for career progression.

The Onsite Manager role will be an implant within the development akin to a fully operational branch with the hire kit being fed in from 2-3 local depots. The project is expected to last for up to 3 years after which it will lead into other opportunities within the business.

The Onsite Manager will have full P&L responsibility for the site and will be responsible for driving sales amongst contractors working on the project. This is a vital role within the business having a real impact on the bottom line. 'People buy from people' so to be successful in this role, you'll need to be great at establishing a network of contacts, really getting to know clients, building good relationships and managing a portfolio of accounts.

Our client has a huge fleet of hire equipment including lifting & material handling, non-mechanical access, powered access, power solutions and lighting, survey & measurement equipment, plant, tools and much more besides, so you'll need to develop excellent product knowledge across a wide range of products. Don't let that put you off as help will be provided every step of the way with product training.

If you want to work for a company who are recognised in the rental industry as one of the leading Tool & Plant Hire Companies and who can offer you great career progression, then apply NOW!!

Skills required:

Already possessing proven experience within the tool & plant hire sector, you must have the drive and desire to maintain and develop successful relationships as well as demonstrate:

* A Customer focused and well-organised approach
* An ability to work in a pressurised environment
* Project Management exposure
* Effective influencing and negotiating skills
* Proficient IT skills and the ability to analyse data
* Ability to promote the company brand and cross-sell all the products

Benefits:

In return our client can offer a highly competitive salary, a generous target based bonus scheme and inclusion into the Company pension scheme.
