Robert Half is recruiting a Billings Manager for a world-leading manufacturing company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and well versed individual to lead the Billings Team as the company continue to expand their services and operations globally. Role Ensuring purchase orders are generated into sales invoices. Reconciling the potential sales invoice to the logistics schedule to ensure that details cross reference and are complete and accurate. Investigate and correct any difference. Manage the billing and receipts of all customers. Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained for customers. Active management of all transactional accounting impacting accounts receivable (sales, receipts, credit notes, adjustments etc.) making sure that these are processed correctly to all relevant accounts. Any incorrect or unidentified transactions investigated promptly. Active resolution of queries by liaising with other areas (e.g. International, Logistics and Cash & Recs) so that issues are identified and resolved as they arise. Proactively support the evolution of processes, financial controls of this billings cycle to meet the changing needs of the business as it works towards its strategic goals. Ensure that the Company complies with relevant tax regulations (e.g. VAT) through accurate transaction recording. Provide ad hoc and addition data as required by the Finance team and other departments. Support the wider Accounted Receivable team by: Liaising with other departments to assist in the resolution of all customer queries to a satisfactory conclusion. Raise and transact any ad hoc invoices for external customers. Manage the Accounts Receivable and Finance Admin mailboxes ensuring that all queries are being dealt with. Identify and notify any failures of external receipts to the system. Profile You will have solid experience in a similar role, leading a team and dealing with high volume collections/billing activities. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be process-driven and possess a 'can-do' attitude.
