Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, the Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator will be providing financial accounting and payroll support. The role will be comprised of 60% accounting activities and 40% payroll administration.

Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, the Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator will be providing financial accounting and payroll support. The role will be comprised of 60% accounting activities and 40% payroll administration.

Description

  • Reconcile nominal control accounts
  • Assist with VAT
  • Maintain fixed Asset register
  • Raise Sales invoices for specific projects
  • Process journals
  • Prepare and input information into HR system for Monthly Payrolls
  • Prepare files for payroll bureau and liaise with bureau to resolve queries
  • Ensure Audit and Statutory requirements are met.

Profile

  • Previous Payroll experience essential
  • Experience covering the above responsibilities as closely as possible
  • Solid bookkeeping experience to ensure integrity of transactions are maintained
  • Must have Sage 50 experience

Job Offer

Salary £25,000 - £28,000

25 days annual leave
