Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Circa £32,000 + Overtime Opportunities OTE Up To £43,500 + Pension + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Opportunities for Training and Development.
Shift Pattern: DAYS. 40 hour
This is a fantastic opportunity for an mechanically biased engineer to join a successful company who are willing to invest in their employees to develop their skills. Applicants from a mechanical or electrical background in ANY manufacturing environment are invited to apply. The role will be suited to an engineer who is competent with hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors. Candidates applying from a FMCG/Food background will have a considerable advantage. The company will pay for official educational qualifications and external manufacturing courses for the successful candidate.
The role is varied, the engineer will be working on a range of food production machinery. Over 50% of the role will be project work, where the engineer will be assigned tasks and have responsibility of managing their own projects from start to finish. The company are in the process of changing the layout on site and installation work will be required. 30% of the role will be reactive maintenance and 20% of the role will be pre-planned maintenance on production machinery.
