Outstanding opportunity for a Lead Systems Engineer to work for a leading defence organisation based in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will undertake research, design and development activities on navigation systems across the full Radar and Advanced Targeting product range.

You will be responsible for:

*Capture, definition, traceability and verification of engineering requirements
*Integration of previously designed algorithms into new platforms
*Undertake research, design and development activities on navigation systems across the full Radar and Advanced Targeting product range

If you have practical experience of engineering within a commercial environment or an equivalent research and development organisation and have Experience of using modelling tools such as MATLAB or programming languages such as C++ we would like to hear from you.

You will be degree qualified or equivalent in a numeric discipline with demonstrable capability in the design of integrated GPS/INS navigation systems. This will entail knowledge of Kalman filtering, inertial sensors, satellite navigation systems and systems modelling. Expertise in Matlab/Simulink is highly desirable and some knowledge of radar and electro-optic pointing systems would be beneficial.
