Having experienced a steady period of growth an opportunity exists for a contract Build Release Engineer to join this substantial development team. Your new role Will have you working in a cross-functional Agile/SCRUM team of Business Analysts, Developers, Architects and Testers delivering web applications for a global audience. You will apply best practice approaches to contribute to the ongoing improvement and QA of software deployment. You will have direct responsibility for the planning, implementation and ongoing management of an automated, scalable and robust build and deployment process for multiple concurrent releases of the same software platform. Providing a stable framework for development, deployment and auditability of all software releases including maintaining release catalogues. What you'll need to succeed You will have demonstrable programming skills and knowledge with exposure to architecture and development on an enterprise scale. You will be experienced in best practice design, development and implementation of secure large scale web applications. With a strong understanding of web technologies you will be an inquisitive self-starter, requiring minimal supervision, who can think outside of the box. Your passion for technology and experience of programming across different languages will ultimately lead to your success.
