Mac Support Engineer


South West London (with travel required to Central London sites)

£28,000- £35,000 per annum

H&R Talent are seeking a Mac Support Engineer on a permanent basis for an IT Services company based in South-West London.

You will be providing end-user deskside support across Mac & Windows, the role will be approximately a 50/50 split between being in the office providing remote support and on-site face to face support at client?s sites (almost all are based in Central London).

The role is very much geared towards providing excellent customer service skills, building good client relationships and providing quality technical support.

Key Skills:

*Mac OS

*Windows 7/8/10

*Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2016

*Active Directory

*Apple Management Software: Casper Suite, DeployStudio

*Microsoft Cloud Technologies: Office365, Azure

*Cabling infrastructure (patching, rack installations etc)

Desirable (not essential):

*Professional IT certifications, such as Mac OS, MCP, MCSA or MCSE

*Virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix

*Wireless Access Solutions (preferably Cisco Meraki)

*Firewalls and network security (preferably Cisco Meraki)

*Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions: StorageCraft, Veeam etc

Day to day you will interact with clients on a daily basis whether its face to face or via phone, support & troubleshoot end user requests and incidents, providing support to client?s local and offsite backups, maintaining the client? IT infrastructure, and regular client visits to support any technical related issues. There will also be the requirement to be involved in project based work.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9am- 5:30pm.
