Bid Writer - BAM Nuttall - South East
Bid Writer - Camberley or London based.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bid Writer to join our successful team winning work for BAM Nuttall, one of the UK's major infrastructure contractors.
We are a dynamic and creative team, always looking for better ways of working to keep ahead in a very competitive environment. We love the variety and challenge of different bids and we work with our bid teams across the UK.
The role requires an open and adaptable approach to developing solutions, together with excellent communication skills. We need people who can distil even the most complex engineering concepts into plain English in a logical way and always with our customers in mind.
On each tender you will support the bid team to shape winning responses, through writing, workshops and presentations. Above all, you will ensure bid submissions are clear, concise and compelling.
You must be happy to travel and be flexible in your approach. In return we are open to different work patterns, to balance personal needs with tender demands.
Good infrastructure really can make a difference to people's lives and this is an exciting time in construction. It's your opportunity to join a great industry!
• You must be able to write clear, correct English - we can't teach this!
• Experience of business development and working on tenders is preferred.
• A background in Civil Engineering and / or Journalism would be an advantage but not essential.
We have a continually evolving training programme, covering both work winning and understanding our engineering business.
BAM Nuttall is focused on providing the highest professional standards in the civil engineering market, with emphasis on building strong, honest and long lasting relationships with satisfied customers. We have established an unrivalled reputation for delivering complex and challenging civil engineering projects that have played a significant role in shaping the infrastructure of modern Britain.
