Cisco Network Support Engineer - NOC, CCNA, R and S Cisco Routing, Cisco Switching, Network Operations Center, NOC Service Desk -Exciting opportunity for a budding Network Engineer to join a highly technical, established Network Operations Team. Gaining knowledge and vendor accreditations along the way. -The role is working as part of the 24-7 NOC team and will involve working for 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 off. 8-8 shifts. -The successful candidate WILL need previous commercial experience, this is NOT graduate role or a role for someone who has left a training centre. Responsibilities: -Provide 1st line support within Service Desk function including: -Provide first class customer service to all stakeholders -Call Ownership - Ticket Creation, Update, Closure -Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of IT problems (could include being dispatched to a customer site) -Monitoring of customer networks/estates via Sciencelogic -Liaison with internal and external stakeholders -Liaison with 3rd party suppliers -Update documentation -Call escalation Experience - Previous experience of working on an IT Service Desk - CCNA certification (desirable) - Exemplary Communication Skills - Proactive and responsive nature - Desire to deliver first class customer service - Awareness of Systems and Networking architectures
