Operational Risk Manager - Insurance background essential
A Lloyd's Underwriters based in the City seeks an experienced Operational Risk Manager from an Insurance background to be responsible for the development, implementation and embedding of Operational risk management across the business and its entities, ensuring that the business complies with Lloyd?s, , PRA, and FCA operational risk management requirements. Candidates will have appropriate risk management qualification or qualified by suitable experience in similar roles in financial services industry, especially London market insurance and Lloyd?s operations and a good understanding of current risk management environment.
The role is to assist with the development of operational risk policies and risk management standards. ?Monitoring and reporting operational risk profile.Writing and presenting papers for the Risk & Capital Committee.To act as OpRisk Manager for Integrated Risk Management (IRM) (ICS, loss reporting)Management of the ICS cycle to ensure it is completed in line with instructions from IRM.Ensure that the relevant guidance from the Global Process Owners is implemented.Run workshops with the relevant business managers.Enhance the reports derived from BWise with expert opinion.Collect operational risk loss events and near miss data.Stress & Scenario Testing - Qualitative Ensure stress & scenario testing including reverse stress testing is undertaken annually.Key Risk Indicators - Facilitate and develop the use of key risk indicators including monitoring and reporting.Lloyd?s Minimum Standards Assist with the annual attestation, ensuring the supporting evidence is available.
