This is an opportunity to become a Lead Developer with a big focus on greenfield projects using the latest.NET frameworks. All of the solutions engineered are focussed on cloud-hosted platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and you'll gain responsibility for defining Microservices architecture within the role.

The organisation have become well-known in the cloud-space due to producing a series of exciting solutions across e-commerce, finance and media from their trendy London Bridge Head Office. As well as exposure to Azure and AWS on back-end C# systems, there is also particular attention paid to best practice around test driven development (TDD) and SOLID principles.

The opportunity here is to gain a great understanding of Microservices architecture, particularly in realtion to cloud (Azure, AWS, Google) and as such, these particular skills aren't something needed to join. Despite this, the organisation do only hire engineers they consider to be the best, with some skills considered a prerequisite:

*Experience of engineering an enterprise level C# application with SOA architecture
*A firm understanding of best practice (TDD, SOLID)
*Previous leadership of an agile team
*A history of emgineering scalable solutions and complex API development
*A genuine desire to work with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

Whilst you stand to gain a lot short-term, there is also terrific long-term progression. There are opportunities to become a Principle Engineer and get involved in high-level architecture and roadmaps, as well as the chance to lead the largest greenfield projects. The beauty of the progression is that everybody remains hands-on, so the culture breeds the best of the best engineers.
