Transport for West Midlands, the transport arm of the company is a rapidly growing authority and fast emerging as a standard setter in the industry - in October becoming only the second ever to win the 'City-Region Transport Authority of the Year' Award twice in a row. We are re-shaping our Policy, Strategy and Innovation Department to respond to new challenges and the largest Combined Authority Mayoral portfolio outside London. We want new talent to join our already excellent team.

The department has recently established the companys first strategic transport plan; a 2026 Transport Delivery Plan; an ambitious delivery programme of globally unique Connected and Autonomous Vehicle testbed facilities; and a UK first of kind Mobility as a Service pilot service; alongside delivering a new service model for policy, strategy, intelligence, analytics and insight across a population of over 1.8million people, 3 cities and 7 local authorities.

We need progressive thinking dynamic individuals to join us as we use evidence to shape our £7.3bn transport programme and as we unlock tomorrow's technologies and insights in collaboration with many of the UK's leading industrial and academic partners. We are looking for:

Dynamic individuals who thrive on challenge, taking the initiative and having a drive to develop an outstanding professional skill base, you will have opportunity to work on nationally and globally significant projects and shape innovative new service delivery models. We are looking for 5 excellent graduates with a flair for communications and numbers to work across policy, strategy, research and analysis and technology and innovation programmes, with potential to either specialise or rotate.
