Technical Support Engineer
A new and exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer to join one of the most successful manufacturers of cooling and heating products. As a Technical Support Engineer , you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000, working in a permanent, full time position. Your main responsibility as a Technical Support Engineer will be to provide a high level of technical assistance to engineers and contractors via telephone and email.

Your duties will include the following:
Answer incoming phone calls and provide appropriate advice using your expertise and knowledge to all callers
Record all customer queries on the company's CRM system
Contribute in achieving all performance targets for the Helpdesk
Keep up to date with all product and technical developments
Provide positive contributions to all team and company meetings
To be successful in the role of Technical Support Engineer , you must be able to demonstrate the following:
NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Minimum of 5 years of Air Conditioning industry experience in service & fault finding of VRF and DX equipment
Experience in chilled water and domestic/commercial heating systems
Previous experience in customer service
Basic knowledge of electrical circuitry
This permanent, full time position is based in Manchester and you will receive an annual salary of £35,000 to £40,000, plus excellent company benefits that includes contributory pension scheme, health care scheme, gym membership and free parking. Holiday entitlement is 22 days plus bank holidays; entitlement increases by a day each year of service up to 27 days.
