Our client is a dynamic, ambitious housing association, providing affordable homes and services to over 16,000 customers across the North West.
They?ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Protection professional to join their Strategy & Assurance team and help them to embed a proactive culture of data protection awareness and compliance across the Association.
Working in their Strategy and Assurance Team you will review and implement data protection policies and processes to ensure they operate within the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations.

By coordinating the delivery of the Improvement plan in relation to GDPR you will work with the Business Compliance Manager to advise on legal requirements and interpret and recommend policies and practices across the Association. You will also design and deliver appropriate training programmes for new and existing colleagues.

With experience of implementing and delivering action plans to ensure compliance with legislation, you will hold a professional qualification in Data Protection. They are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate an understanding of legislation and good practice in relation to information management and data protection, as well as experience of creating and designing training to a range of audiences.
