About the role?

  • Sole responsibility for the monthly Payroll processing of over 2000 staff split between salaried and hourly paid using Sage Snowdrop
  • Weekly checks of timesheets submitted by 50 + stores and Warehouse
  • In depth working knowledge of:
    • o statutory payments and deductions
    • o Tax and NI calculations
    • o pensions
    • o LTIPs
    • o Year End
    • o P11d
    • o Bonus payments
    • o Health & Life Insurance
  • Manual calculations when required
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on discrepancies, LFL figures and any ad hoc reporting required
  • Assist employees on pay queries across all levels
  • Responsible for management of company cars

About You?

Other than an open mind and the drive to succeed, there are certain skills you?ll need to get the job done:

  • Minimum 12 months? experience working as a Payroll Officer
  • Advanced excel skills essential
  • Ability to make manual calculations when required
  • Experience of dealing with and resolving employee pay issues
  • You will be confident and decisive with the ability to make decisions under a pressurised environment.
  • Experience of Sage Snowdrop desirable but not essential
  • Part time role will be considered however flexibility in hours is essential
