My client are an established, market leading provider of business management software, expanding as a result of growth and success.


We are seeking an energetic Junior Developer to take on an exciting role within our busy team. Reporting to the Development Team Lead, this role will be a hands-on position for our core products, collaborating with the team to develop, support, test and maintain this product.

You will have the opportunity to work on full life cycle using agile methodologies. The individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems.


The role itself is very varied and will entail:

  • Understand the software requirements for the project
  • Hands-on development in an agile environment
  • Write unit tests
  • Daily reporting of development activities
  • Work with the team to define and agree estimates
  • Follow defined software development processes and standards
  • Responsibly follow planned and assigned task lists



  • Software engineering-related degree
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programing
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases
  • Self-improvement and technical Learning ability


  • Experience of any of the following:
    • C#
    • SQL Server
    • HTML / CSS
    • ASP.Net / MVC
    • Test Driven Development
    • JavaScript, JQuery, Backbone, Require.JS, Marionette, Typescript,
    • Service-Oriented Architecture
    • WCF/Web Services
    • Mobile Development
  • Previous use of bug tracking software, such as Bugzilla or Trac
  • Knowledge of developing mobile friendly web applications
  • Knowledge of modern IDEs
  • Ability to use version control software, such as SVN or TFS
  • Agile/Scrum development process exposure
