Graduate Software Engineer - Mathematics and Physics Problems - Cambridgeshire
A very interesting role have become available for someone who loves working on mathematics and physics software problems. You will be based in a Cambridgeshire software house working on complex software problems for a range of sectors.
The mathematics and physics knowledge is paramount for this role so you will hold a 1st or 2:1 degree within challenging mathematics or physics field. While working on your degree you will have been using MATLAB, Python or R on a daily basis.
If you hold a PhD in a related field also this will be advantageous, but not essential. Although this is a graduate software engineer role this company are happy to look at people with a couple of years industry experience also.
While working in this role you will work alongside experienced software architects, software engineers, computational physicists, mathematicians and other industry experts who you will learn valuable skills from.
The type of people who do well in this role normally have a passion for physics and math problems, due to this this company look out for examples of this interest on your CV.
