Regional Trainer - Learning & Development
Location: North East England or Scotland Based, with National travel when required
Salary: Circa £35K dependant on experience plus car and benefits

This new position, with a well-established distributor and manufacturer has been created to support our clients continued growth.

As Regional Trainer you will be a key member of a newly created Learning and Development team. Working collaboratively you will help to inform and create training plans and programmes for employees and deliver a host of training events within a specific region.

Key Accountabilities:
*Design and deliver learning interventions that are customer service and sales growth focused.
*Work closely with the management team within the region to match their growth plans with the learning needs of employees.
*Evaluate and monitor learning outcomes to ensure their effectiveness and communicate results accordingly.

*Proactively engage with your region to support national learning and development initiatives.
*Support the successful on boarding of new starters by implementing the newly designed Induction programme.
*Communicate closely with colleagues working in other regions to share best practices, ensure that training content is consistent and that there is no duplication of effort.
*Develop content for eLearning appropriate learning modules.
*Manage all learning activity and records for your region.
*Take responsibility for specific L&D projects as directed by the Learning & Development Manager.

Person Specification - Knowledge and Experience
*Background and experience in customer service, retail or sales, training.
*Experience within the Wholesale and Distribution sectors would be an advantage.
*Experience in supporting the full training cycle.
*Knowledge and experience of blended learning solutions
*Be a fantastic communicator with a style that is both engaging and confident.
*Experience of designing learning programmes that encourage the learner to acquire new skills, knowledge or attitude that can be easily transferred back in the "day job".
*Good level of coaching ability.
*Be bubbly, trustworthy and personable.
*Have confidence, when necessary to say no.
*Be as happy to work on own initiative as working with team members.
*IT literate.

Qualifications
*Full UK Driving Licence - (Essential)
*Formal training qualification - (Desirable)
*Formal qualification or experience of personality profiling tool i.e. MBTI, Insights Discovery, Wave (Saville Assessments) - (Desirable)
