Facilities Helpdesk Operator - Night and day Shift

Location - Bristol - Parking available on site

Salary starting £18,000, rising to £20,000 after completion of 3 month probation

Hours - this role will be 2 day shift - 7am -7pm, 2 night shift - 7pm - 7am - over 4 days - including weekends, bank holidays

Outline:

The Helpdesk Operator will take and record all Helpdesk calls, faxes and emails, filter queries and call out various sub-contractors for maintenance, repairs and other functions as required. The Helpdesk Operator will ensure correct progress is made against all events raised at the Helpdesk and ensure that all actions are correctly logged and timed. The Helpdesk Operator will also be responsible for administering all the bookings relating to the Conference and Hospitality Services. This service covers all room bookings and catering requirements.

Required:

  • Facilities management administration experience would be preferable

  • Alternatively previous call centre experience, along with experience of working shift hours

  • Confident in working alone as well as part of a wider team

  • Strong attention to detail, updating systems and logging information

  • Competent organisational skills with the ability to manage own work and time

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Publisher qualified desirable

  • Current driving licence with own transport employment would be advantageous - (this is due to the hours and lack of available public transport at those times)
