Java Engineer - Senior - Java 8, RESTful, Spring, TDD

A great opportunity to work on a global project for one of the world's leading retail banks is currently available for an experienced Senior Java Engineer as the look to re-engineer their online banking application. You will be working on a business critical single sign on PaaS application that will change the way that millions of people access their bank accounts globally.

This is a huge project that is entirely Greenfield. You will be 100% hands on development. The project utilises some of the latest tech including Java 8, Maven, Docker, AWS and is microservice architected. As a Senior Java Engineer you will also get the chance to have design and architectural input.

There are a few requirements that will be considered for the role. Firstly you have worked with Java 7 as a minimum, have experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs, be experienced in working with Spring, running your unit tests and working across the entire CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Jenkins and Maven. If you have experience with AWS, Docker or any front end frameworks this will be great but not essential.

There is a lot to be gained from this role. Firstly there is a salary of up to £75,000 based on your experience, 10% plus 25 days holiday. In addition this is a company who understand the value of training and as such there is £2,000 for you to spend on your own training. Socially there are company ski trips, social events and a relaxed environment where you will easily feel at home.
