E-Learning Developer - Camberley, Surrey.

BAM Nuttall are a leading civil engineering company who contract work throughout the UK and overseas.

We are currently seeking to recruit an E-Learning Developer who will join our team in the design and production of learning modules in technical, supervisory and management training. The role requires experience of liaising and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and creating storyboards and scripts. Experience using Articulate Storyline from design to completion is advantageous.

This role will work as part of the People Development Team and will support the design and delivery of the Academy products and services across BAM Nuttall.

Reporting to the Academy Manager, this role will be based in our Head Office in Camberley and will require occasional travel and overnight stays within the UK.

Your key activities will include:

•Author content using Articulate Storyline.
•Liaise with subject matter experts.
•Assist in the quality assurance of learning content produced to required standards.
•Ensure learning projects are delivered on time and to budget.
•Embed video, audio and graphics into e-modules.
•Develop training modules to the highest standard and in compliance with the BAM Nuttall Academy Standard and Values.
•Maintain a library of current Academy training resources.
•Proactively update knowledge in the area of training and related technology to maintain continuing professional development.
•Act as technical expert and assist others developer in Articulate Storyline use and troubleshooting.
•Support the delivery of projects across the BAM Nuttall Academy within timescales and budget.

The following skills and experience are essential to this role:

•Experience in the use of e-learning software, proficiency in Articulate Storyline is preferred but experience in similar software would be considered.
•Demonstrable experience of producing learning plans, storyboards and training materials.
•Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
•Experienced in facilitating and training and an understanding of the learning process.
•Possess strong IT skills and understanding of technology.
•Strong communication skills.
•Sound understanding of the principles of learning and development.
•Planning and organising, with the ability to work on own initiative.
•Availability for occasional UK wide travel, including overnight stays.
•Current driving licence.

The following qualifications and experience are desirable, but not essential:

•HR / Training / Learning and Development qualification or equivalent.
•Relevant Information Technology Qualification at level 3 or above.
•Experience of either the Civil Engineering or the Construction Industry.

Salary will be competitive and relative to ability, qualifications and / or experience.
