IT Support Engineer
We are looking for an experienced IT and network engineer to join the team of a growing managed services provider. This is a varied role that may include helpdesk, project work and proactive onsite technical duties.
Delivering great service to our clients in technical support and project delivery. Managing own work and maintaining detailed notes in ticketing/project management system.
Managing a large number of client IT systems to a high standard.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Ability to work on own initiative and think on your feet.
Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity best practices, tools and techniques.
Microsoft Windows server and desktop administration
Cisco network installation and administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, unified communications.
Backups and business continuity planning.
Exchange server and Office 365.
Security systems and software.
VMware and Hyper-V.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of building client loyalty through service excellence in a managed or outsourced service orientated environment.
Current knowledge of common industry standard delivery models, such as ITIL.
3-7 years’ work experience in a related field with demonstrated increased areas of responsibility.
