We have an exciting role within a globally renowned Investment bank; the bank has recently established a fresh and rapidly growing department. You will be supporting an energetic team of 15, they are looking for an experienced, proactive and efficient Assistant to support them as they expand. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver and have solid experience within Investment Banking or a start-up organisation.


- Support a team ranging from a Managing Director to Analysts
- Maintain complex and detailed calendars
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Organise complex, senior-level internal / external meetings and conference calls
- Handle a high volume of phones calls and interact with high level business leaders
- Manage technology requests
- Prepare and distribute divisional communications
- On-boards new hires, processes new employees, transfers


- Team player with a positive, muck-in, all-hands-on-deck attitude
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and superb organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of general business, corporate and government cultures
- Demonstrates dependability and sense of urgency about getting results
- Demonstrates high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a sometimes hectic, high pressure environment
- Ability to display a consistent, professional degree of communication
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritise and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Must be able to prioritise a variety of time-sensitive tasks
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion required
- Preferably 5+ years of experience
