Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
- Graduates Maths required
- Must hold 1st & 2:1 degrees
- 'Outstanding' Primary in Nottingham
- Earn up to £300 per week
- Full time role - for the rest of the academic year
- Dedicated mentor - support with developing teaching and learning
This 'Outstanding' graded Primary school based in Nottingham, are dedicated to inspiring pupils through innovative learning approaches, especially in regards to the teaching of maths. The drive to raise the profile of maths within the school has become a central focus for this dedicated SLT team and you will be welcomed as an invaluable staff member, instrumental to their success in this area. You will gain the invaluable classroom experience you will need to pursue a career in teaching as the school continues to invest in developing outstanding graduates who are keen to share their fantastic subject knowledge.
You will benefit from tailored advice throughout your placement from a dedicated teaching mentor, who is devoted to developing graduates working within their faculty. Not only will they support you as you develop your own approaches to planning and teaching but they will also offer you any support you may need with future teacher training applications.
Ideally you will have some previous experience working with young people, but not necessarily within a classroom environment, and have at least received a 2:1 in your degree.
