Software & Technology
Working closely with the team to develop the core technology of the company
Driving the development of the scientific data management and analytics platform
Initiating and continuously contributing to development processes and good practices
Collaborating on the development of customised platform rollouts for clients
Undertaking development projects to link third party systems and data as needed

Communicating efficiently and working together with an inter-disciplinary team
Working and mentoring the team on good practices
Continuously learning new technologies
Client Relationships
Troubleshooting and implementing improvements to systems as needed
Presenting and depicting the rationale of findings in simple, engaging and easy to understand business terms to a diverse group of stakeholders

Your core skills & qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of Python is essential
In-depth knowledge of at least one SQL dialect
Knowledge of web technologies such as Javascript, HTML and CSS
Working with large datasets, preferably in a distributed environment
Knowledge of software development processes including agile
Some experience with test driven development
Additional 'plus' skills and experience:

Consistent track record of designing and implementing computational environment
Strong scientific background
Prior experience of using MVC based systems is an advantage
Exposure to enterprise hardware and DevOps
