We are currently recruiting for a process Engineer. We are looking for an experienced individual to support or lead of process projects across multiple sites including seeking, evaluating and implementing process improvements through process expertise and methodology. The successful candidate would ensure best practices and know how across the sites (UK and Ireland) are shared across the wider Group. Your challenge In this role the key challenges will include: * Supporting work flow on mulitple sites & co-ordinate, support and lead process improvement projects using company regognised CI tools. * Evaluating / supporting budgets through multiple projects * Keeping abreast of technologies and best practices across an expanding Group * Influencing and aligning policies across Process Groups * Developing own skills to keep up with changes, legislation & Identifying new and emerging technologies * Undertake design works for new process designs and costs & undertake reviews of project proposals ensuring process technology is appropriate. * Development of process equipment specifications and standards. * Support local processing projects to provide ideal concepts for process expansion, modernisation and green field sites. * Liaise with external resources such as general contractors. IT, filling and packaging consultants, PLC control specialists, project managers to generate high quality concepts or detailed designs to achieve business strategies. * Act as a coach and / or mentor where required. * Ensure compliance is met in every project, to current Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards and regulations. Key skills & experience * HNC/HND/FdSc (Eng/Dairy related)-essential. * Project management qualification is desirable. * Engineering / process related degree is desirable. * Leadership & Management qualification is desirable. * In depth knowledge of all related hygienic processing technologies * Understanding of the legislation within the UK relating to hygienic processing and CIP * Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Microsoft Project * AutoCAD * Project management experience * Effective communication (oral / written) skills * Ability to operate across all levels within the business * 1-3 years in process management position * Multi-sites experience * Driving Licence * Excellent communication skills * Problem solving with a logical approach. * Effective networker/approachable * Team worker with ability to work independently * Diplomatic * Confident * Attention to detail.
