.Net Senior Developers and .Net Lead Developers are currently sought for a major UK organisation and household name who boast a workforce exceeding 150,000 that are investing £100?s of millions to transform the heart of their business with new capability. With over a hundred projects underway at any one time, there is a huge opportunity to contribute to the business?s goals to transform and grow. Vastly experienced in-house teams are being built that include; a Microsoft Development centre of excellence as part of their ongoing transformation.

This role is a key enabler in allowing the firm to build an internal capability to build .Net/SQL Server based applications that can operate at enterprise scale with significant transaction volumes, users and Data. Additionally, the firm are fully embracing the Agile and DevOps methods to provide the speed of change that the business requires.

The .Net Senior Developer will be Responsible for the designs of Microsoft based solutions in a complex IT estate and helping build, lead and retain an in-house multi-disciplined team based on Microsoft technologies. The responsibilities of the .Net Senior Developer will include managing the Microsoft development team ensuring appropriate training, support and personal development, setting up Agile development teams and ensure appropriate monitoring and reporting is available on progress.

In addition, the .Net Senior Developer will create and interpret technical architectures using standard tools and techniques for modelling. Identify the technologies to employ and take responsibility for the delivery of software solutions. Work with standard software development lifecycles and the firms programme lifecycle framework

The .Net Senior Developer should be able to bring the experience and ideas that will help to deliver large scale modernisation programmes along with the ability to manage and motivate a team and have the technical credibility to influence the wider technical community. The .Net Lead Developer should therefore be a confident communicator, capable generalist with a holistic approach to engineering challenges and have an ability to adapt and innovate

The .Net Senior Developer will focus on the Microsoft .net language and technology stack with experience of integration into a diverse range of platforms and services including EAI, remote resources, data storage, messaging, solution accelerators, frameworks and 3rd party libraries.

It is beneficial but not essential if the .Net Senior Developer also has experience of working at scale on mobile and web applications using Xamarin and Android with skills in both server side and client side technologies and an innate Understanding around the challenges of enterprise software development.

The .Net Senior Developer would have a track record in delivering high volume, low latency distributed software solutions and be familiar with current programing paradigms and patterns following the Microsoft .Net technology roadmap.

Finally, the .Net Senior Developer will be comfortable working in a variety of development methodologies from Agile to waterfall with experience in solution delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
