Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a commercially aware and dynamic Management Accountant for a leading manufacturing business in Rotherham to work in their contracts division. They have been involved in a number of high profile projects and are an employer of choice in the region, boasting impressive offices and facilities on site for their staff.

You will have responsibility for working closely with Operational Managers and tightly managing contracts through to completion in relation to budgeting and forecasting as well as managing costs and analysing variances. You will also regularly attend board meetings in order to highlight any issues or report findings.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:-

- To provide support in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the financial reporting in the Contracting Business based around the UK
- Manage the day to day financial transactional processes to ensure the above and maintain good relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support to the Contracting Senior Management Accountant and Head of Finance in the preparation of forecasts for the financial performance on a periodic basis for consolidation
- Provide support in the preparation of the month end accounts for consolidation upwards (3 day close)
- Assist in /Responsible for the completion of the monthly cost to complete process for part of the Contracting Sector to provide accurate and up to date pictures of the financial performance of contracting projects ranging from £1m to £10m
- Responsible for the monthly Balance sheet account reconciliation
- To form part of operational or finance related project teams as and when required

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following skills and attributes:-

*CIMA or ACCA Qualified
*Financially and commercially astute
*Numerate, literate with previous relevant industry experience
*Collaborative, enthusiastic and self-motivated
*Experience of SAP Accounting systems preferred
*Advanced user of excel and Reporting Tools
*Effective organisational skills
*Attention to detail
*High degree of integrity in relation to financial reporting
*Ability to manage, monitor and review cost to completes
*Possess effective communication and presentation skills
*Excellent at building relationships and Networking
