Lecturer - Maths GCSE and Functional Skills Permanent, 37 hours per week Salary: £23,889 - £27,663 per annum Location of position: Worksop, Rotherham, Dearne Valley Campus, Manvers RNN Group’s main goal is to be an ‘outstanding’ education and training provider and this is at the heart of everything that we do. You’ll be able to inspire your students to achieve excellence. You will understand the challenges that this brings; but you will have well developed strategies for overcoming resistance and engaging students in their learning journey. As a member of the delivery team you will play an important role in developing and creating resources, as well as tracking and monitoring students, to promote positive outcomes and achieve the key priorities for the College. More than anything, we want you to be enthusiastic and committed to developing the maths provision within your vocational link area, delivering outstanding teaching and learning for our students, securing them the very best outcomes. You will need to be a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, working closely with vocational staff and management, in line with raising the profile of maths within the curriculum area. The role will require you to be able to deliver Maths GCSE and Maths Functional Skills across the RNN Group. You will need a minimum of a level 5 subject specialism in Maths and hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification, Certificate in Education or PGCE.
